Have you heard of lomography (www.lomography.com)? I suggest you get Mr. Fancy Boss Man a Super Sampler camera...they're more like 15 pounds, instead of 3 (according to my haphazard currency conversion), but they are neat. Merry Christmas!

oooh, a 2 day bike trip including pubs sound fantastic! that sucks about the losing friends part. luckily with my ex-bf, i didn't particularily like his friends so there was no great loss. good luck!
